Rebecca Krausert Sykalski
I'm a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee alumna (2016), with BFAs in Ceramics and Art Education. I grew up, work, and teach in Wisconsin. My own art education from Elementary to Middle School was severely lacking due to budget cuts; I got Art once a month, on rotation weekly with gym and music. All my art access was rolled in on a cart, by an art teacher trying to do her best, under abysmal circumstances. Our youth deserve better. Our youth deserve access to a high quality art education. Because of my passion for education and the arts, I advocate through my own teaching, activism and examining the human condition through my own art. I currently reside in Janesville, Wi and teach in Clinton, Wi.
